Week of prayer & Fasting
January 21-28, 2018

Why We Are Fasting

Year of Prayer
There are times and seasons in life when you go through renewal. Fasting and prayer is a way to commit yourself to spiritual renewal and grow in your relationship with God. Zechariah 4:6 says, “Then he told me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD All-Powerful.” God spoke to His people who had a daunting task to accomplish. In this verse God tells us that our  best effort and energy will not produce the same results in our life that God has for us if  we will let Him do it by His Spirit. Are you open to turning up your prayer life?

The Courageous Faith Campaign
As a church, God has been taking us on an incredible journey! We’ve seen God do amazing miracles, but we aren’t at the finish line yet! Together, let’s get re-focused and re-energized in our mission! Join us on Sunday, January 28 at 6:00 p.m. for an incredible night of celebration of Courageous Faith as well as prayer and worship with our entire church family! Read over and meditate on this verse while you are praying and fasting in preparation for the service.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,” Ephesians 3:20

Personal Breakthroughs
All throughout history and Scripture, we’ve seen proof that God does amazing and supernatural things when we fast, especially for personal breakthroughs. Take this journey to heart, and get set free from those hurts, habits and hang-ups that are holding you back from the great things God has in store for you.

Meet Our Pastor

Meet Our Pastor

For us, church is like home - filled with laughter, fun and the family of God. We love meeting new people and have been in the Pacific Northwest for 28 years. Capital Christian started as a small group in our home and has grown to multiple locations to better reach the incredible people in this area for Christ.

Since pioneering Capital Christian we have had the amazing privilege of witnessing God do unimaginable things in the lives and families of those who have joined in the journey; from marriages being healed and families reunited, to seeing young people make a passionate commitment to live for Christ. We have seen people lost in their hurts, habits and hang-ups find hope, help and healing through Christ. We love to be a part of what God is doing and partner with our military to provide support both locally and abroad for our military heroes and their families.

We would love to invite you to come be a part. We strive to be a growing healthy church and see continued growth at Solid Rock Ranch, a place where young people from all walks of life can discover God and His amazing love; as well as the continued growth of our Kitsap Campus. We see families continuing to be connected, marriages restored, lives rescued and hearts healed as well as people discovering their purpose and living the amazing life God wants for them!

If you would like more information about Capital Christian, we invite you to Meet the Pastors, held once each month, where you can ask any questions you have about the church as well as getting informed on the many exciting things coming up. We would love to see you there!

As always, Come As You Are!
