HOW DAVID ALLOWED WORSHIP TO RENEW HIM ON ONE OF THE LOWEST DAYS OF HIS LIFE.
Read 1 Samuel 30:1-27.
“So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. I Samuel 30:3NKJV
1) HE WEPT AND GOT IT ALL OUT.
Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.” I Samuel 30:4 NKJV
2) HE ENCOURAGED HIMSELF WITH WORSHIP.
“Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.” I Samuel 30:6 NKJV
“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;”. Psalms 95:2a NKJV

3) HE INQUIRED OF GOD AND GOT DIRECTION.
“So David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.”” 1 Samuel 30:8 NKJV
4) HE RECOVERED ALL.
“So, David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.” I Samuel 30:18-19 NKJV
5) HE REFRESHED OTHERS.
“But David said, “No, my brothers! Don’t be selfish with what the Lord has given us..” 1 Samuel 30:23a NLT
