COURAGEOUS FAITH

Week 8 Pastor Dave MInton

THE COURAGE TO PARTNER

WHAT WILL IT TAKE?

1)     IT WILL TAKE EVERYONE COMING TOGETHER

“The whole body depends on Christ, and all the parts of the body are joined and held together. Each part does its own work to make the whole body grow and be strong with love.”  Ephesians 4:16 NCV

2)     IT WILL TAKE PRAYER.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 NKJV

“Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible.  But with God everything is possible.”” Matthew 19:26 NLT

3)     IT WILL TAKE FAITH

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 NIV

“According to your faith let it be done to you”;” Matthew 9:29 NIV

4)     IT WILL TAKE GENEROSITY

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV

5)     IT WILL TAKE CREATIVITY

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 NKJV

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant,…..”   Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV

6)     IT WILL TAKE SACRIFICE

“And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.” But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”” Matthew 26:6-13 NKJV
