Week 3 1-23-16

“You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance. ”Psalms 65:11 (NKJV)

 1) Choose God First

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”  Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

“Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.  Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” Psalm 37:4-5 (NLT)

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:12-14 (NLT)

2)  Get Planted

"Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.  But they delight in the law of the Lord,  meditating on it day and night.  They are like trees planted along the riverbank,  bearing fruit each season.  Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”  Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV)

"Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.”  Genesis 1:28-29 (NKJV)

3) Change Your Thought Change Your Life

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.   And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”  Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV)

4) Walk into your season

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)
