P.E.A.C.E
P. PROMOTE RECONCILIATION
E. EQUIP SERVANT LEADERS.

Without wise leadership, a nation falls;  (Proverbs 11:14 NLT)

Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of a shepherd. (Zechariah 10:2b NIV)

When good people succeed, the city is happy. When evil people die, there are shouts of joy. Good people bless and build up their city,  (Proverbs 11:10-11a NCV)

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?
THE ESSENCE OF GOOD LEADERSHIP IS SERVING

But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. (Luke 22:26 NLT)

Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”            (Matthew 20:28 NKJV)

SERVANT LEADERS
1) SET AN EXAMPLE

You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. (John 13:13-15 NKJV)

...but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12b NIV)

People who do not believe are living all around you and might say that you are doing wrong. Live such good lives that they will see the good things you do and will give glory to God on the day when Christ comes again.                              (1 Peter 2:12 NCV)

2) SHOW THE WAY
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” (Matthew 4:19 NLT)

Pass on what you heard from me—the whole congregation saying Amen!—to reliable leaders who are competent to teach others. (2 Timothy 2:2 MSG)

3) SPEAK THE TRUTH
I tell you the truth, ... ( Matt 5:18a NLT)

but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— (Ephesians 4:15 NKJV)

4) STERCH OUR FAITH
Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. (Matthew 12:13 NIV)

When Jesus looked out and saw that a large crowd had arrived, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread to feed these people?” He said this to stretch Philip’s faith. He already knew what he was going to do                                   (John 6:5, 6 MSG)

“But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” (Mark 9:22b,23 NIV)

5) SACRIFICE THEIR COMFORTS TO GET THE JOB DONE

He gave himself for us so he might pay the price to free us from all evil and to make us pure people who belong only to him—people who are always wanting to do good deeds. (Titus 2:14 NCV)

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Hebrews 13:16 NIV)
