"ORDINARY PEOPLE EMPOWERED BY GOD MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER WHEREVER THEY ARE"

we are God’s accomplishment, created in Christ Jesus to do good things. God planned for these good things to be the way that we live our lives. (Ephesians 2:10 CEB)

ORDINARY PEOPLE

Take a good look, friends, at who you were when you got called into this life. I don’t see many of “the brightest and the best” among you, not many influential, not many from high-society families. Isn’t it obvious that God deliberately chose men and women that the culture overlooks and exploits and abuses, chose these “nobodies” to expose the hollow pretensions of the “somebodies”? (1 Corinthians 1:26-28 MSG)

EMPOWERED BY GOD

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power ......(Matthew 10:1 NKJV)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NIV)

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV)

Jesus looked at them and said, “For people this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”                      (Matthew 19:26 NCV)

MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. (Luke 10:1 NKJV)

“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”   (Matthew 18:19, 20 NKJV)

WHEREVER THEY ARE

“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you.  ( Luke 10:5-6NIV)

“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ (Luke 10:8, 9 NIV)

AMBASSADOR OF PEACE

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV)

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9 NIV)

Personal Peace

Local Peace

Global Peace

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Matthew 25:37-40 NKJV)

FEAR IS OUR GREATEST BARRIER
And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’                       (Matthew 25:25 NKJV)

I AM AFRAID THAT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO
Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.             (2 Corinthians 3:5 NIV)

I AM AFRAID I DON'T HAVE TIME
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.              (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

AM AFRAID I CAN'T AFFORD IT

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. (2 Corinthians 9:8 NLT)

I AM AFRAID MY CIRCUMSTANCES WILL NOT ALLOW IT
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. (2 Corinthians 8:12 NIV)
