Radical Love Devotional

In the New Testament, there are over 60 verses containing the words “one another”. These passages are intended to create the healthiest possible relationships. The Bible has a lot to say about how we should treat each other! For 30 days we will see what the Bible has to say in these “one another” verse. In a season that is easily overcome by consumerism, we will be looking to Jesus to enrich and revive how we connect with others around us.

Let’s check out 30 of these “one another” verses together as we count down to Christmas from now until Sunday, December 23. Follow along on Facebook live each morning at 7 a.m. If you would like a paper copy of the Radical Love devotional you can pick it up in the lobby!

Our PEACE Center Giving Tree provides an opportunity for us to set up our Christmas “store”.  At that store, moms and dads have an opportunity to come in and “shop” for their kiddos!

We also have our global and local PEACE teams providing a way for the kids to shop for their parents! That way, the gifts are from them, not us.

After families make their selections, we will have a team set up to beautifully wrap all their gifts for them and send them on their way, ready for Christmas morning.

One thing that we work very hard on at the PEACE Center is restoring dignity to families who are or have been suffering by showing them that God loves them and cares what happens to them because He sent us to love and care for them.  We want this to be a fun, exciting shopping experience for everyone. It will be a fun-filled day with Christmas music, hot chocolate, cookies, love and laughter!

frequently asked questions

How can my family contribute to the Peace Center Giving Tree?

1.  Take a tag or two (or three) from the tree and purchase gifts for the child on that tag.

2.  Drop some change in our "Be the Change" Collection container at the Giving Tree table.

3.  You can give in the offering by designating on your offering envelope that it is for the PEACE Center Giving Tree. (This will be added to your giving record.)

4.  You can bring money or gift items that you might find on sale to the PEACE Center, where we can give you a tax deductible receipt.

Where do I bring the gifts? When is the latest I can bring the gifts?

Please bring gifts either back to church to the Giving Tree, or you can drop them off at the PEACE Center during our open hours. Please bring them by December 19!

How can my family serve for the Giving Tree/Christmas Store?

We need shoppers, runners, gift wrappers, cookie makers, people to man the goodie table and loaders. Check in at the PEACE Center to sign up or give us a call (360-4561140)!
